Empowering Recovery

Live Headstrong is a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) that provides economically disadvantaged Individuals in recovery from addiction and mental health conditions with opportunities to participate in evidence-based holistic activities. While we focus on serving women in recovery, we regularly offer events for all genders. Please check out the event listings below. 

Events include, but are not limited to the  following retreats and workshops:

• Nature, Hiking & Adventure 
• Functional Fitness, Nutrition & Wellness
• Yoga, Breath Work & Meditation
• Life Skills, Personal Safety, Self-Esteem & Boundaries

Through somatic practices and sensory modulation, participants in these programs increase their mind-body connection and regain emotional regulation, self-esteem and resilience. All of these are essential for long-term healing from addictions, addictive behaviors, and mental health issues such as PTSD, depression and anxiety. 

Our programs are led by highly experienced certified and/or licensed professionals who work in the field of addictions and mental health counseling, personal safety, fitness, wellness and nutrition. Most of all we are outdoor enthusiasts and are living proof of Nature's healing power.
